Villa Oliver Apartment House is located in a quiet part of Zalakaros, within walking distance of the town center and the thermal bath. These uniquely designed apartments have 1 bedroom, a living room (with sofa), their own sauna, and a large bathroom with a shower. Every apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, air conditioning, a large LCD TV, soundproofed windows and doors, and a terrace or balcony, as well as free, round-the-clock high-speed internet.

The town's main attraction is its thermal bath complex, with a history going back 55 years. Zalakaros's thermal water is unique even in Europe: it contains iodine-bromine and sulphur compounds, is mildly radioactive, and has a high metabicarbonate content. It is highly effective for chronic gynecological, musculoskeletal, joint, neurological, cardiovascular and metabolic conditions.

The bath consists of two main areas: the medical center and adventure pool complex (with outdoor pools), and the covered thermal bath and thermal beach, the latter with a renovated medical treatment section. The thermal water comes from several wells: the 96°C water is used for medical treatment, while the 53°C water is used to fill the beach pools.

Zalakaros is the Balaton region's family bath: Vízipók-Csodapók (a beloved Hungarian children's cartoon spider) and friends await children on a spiderweb rope course, a two-level children's pool, cave passages, water-spray gates and numerous slides (anaconda, mini black hole, rainbow slides), and kids can even take part in water-gun battles. Nearby you'll also find Kis-Balaton (Little Balaton) and the Kápolnapuszta Buffalo Reserve, both great destinations for a day trip.
